We make it easy for you to have great content.

Formed in 2007, Grammar Perfection was created as a way to make the average writer look like an extraordinary writer by correcting grammatical errors in their content. We are based out of the Chicago area in Illinois. Our team consists of a group of people who live and breathe grammar. Each member of our team was chosen because they are great at what they do.

Why use us?

Trust is important. The same people I trust with the content on my own websites will be the ones who will be proofreading for you. If I wouldn’t trust them with my own content, then I wouldn’t let them work on yours.

Our customers are our partners. They fund our daily operations by paying for our service. We love mutually-beneficial, long term relationships.

The basics are beautiful. Many internet-based businesses overlook the basics: Great service, ease of use, great communication, honest pricing and respect. Grammar Perfection uses these principles as cornerstones of our business philosophy.

Simplicity is key when it comes to writing for e-commerce. We follow the motto, “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

Contracts stink. No one likes being locked into a long-term contract. We believe that the quality of our work will be enough to entice you to work with us long term. If you don’t like something we have done, let us know and we will make it right.

Why start a proofreading and editing business?

Grammar is not everyone’s strongpoint, and it doesn’t have to be. It takes a lot of effort to know all of the rules of English grammar. A recent search on Google of “Rules of English Grammar” resulted in 7,740,000 results. Who has the time to learn it all and sort through this?

Unfortunately, we live in a world that expects perfection wherever it looks; many professionals are unaware of the impact such a small thing as a spelling error can have on their businesses.

Our timeline

October 2007: Seeing a need for an affordable proofreading and editing business, owner Sean Woods starting laying the framework for the Grammar Perfection website.

November 2009: Grammar Perfection became an LLC.

September 2010: Website re-launch featuring new design.

October 2010: MyBlogWriter.com will launch giving website owners an affordable way to add keyword-rich blogs to their website.
